fostering community for cooking in small home living by bringing the warmth of outdoor dining inside.
During the process of this project I started with the idea of bringing the feeling of camping and being at a fire into the home. I then furthered the concept by designing a cook station that would be the center of the household where people would gather around and share memories.
Inspired by my love at being at a fire with friends and family I wanted to bring the feeling of gathering and talking inside home.
I then created cook station concepts that could work in the center of the household. I moved forward with a concept that saved the most space and allowed the user to cook while sitting down.
